End of Winter Jam Camp 2022

End of Winter Jam Camp 2022

hosted by the Northern Bluegrass Circle

March 18-20, 2022 at Camp He Ho Ha

The January Winter Jam Camp has been postponed until March 18-20, 2022. We felt this was the best decision to make for the health and safety of our participants. If you have registered and want to come in March you need to do nothing. We will hold your spot. If the March date does not work for you, you may request a refund.

Restrictions around COVID are changing. We will not be requesting proof of vaccinations. We will be following the masking mandate in place as of March 18th. Presently you you do not have to wear a mask when singing as long as there is social distancing.

$249 includes semi-private accommodation and meals. (Celiac meals extra $15)

Plus all the jamming you can handle.

The Winter Jam Camp caters to confident jammers.
There will be no instruction at the Winter Jam Camp.

We are limited to the number of participants so get registered!

Our Friday night mixer, band scramble and open stage
will take place in the great big Main Hall instead of the George Kidd Lounge. We can spread out and gather without being too close.
We can use a sound system or not.
If we use a sound system for the performances we will clean the microphone after each use.

There will still be two to a room. This year you will have to pick your roommate. Send an email to Anna with your roommates name or she can help you with your selection. If you want a private room there will be an addition charge of $65.

There will be four designated jamming areas. Lounge 3/4 hosts the Old Time Jam, lounge 5/6 hosts the Swing Jam, lounge 7/8 hosts a Country/ Folk Jams and the George Kidd hosts the Bluegrass Jam.

You are welcome to visit each jam and join in. There is enough room in all of those spaces to have around 10 jammers at a time. The private rooms can also hold about 5 jammers.

We will try and assemble a COVID sensitive band scramble.

Of course, the Forced March is on!
Warm hats, mitts and boots required.

End of Winter Jam Camp Schedule

Please email Anna with any questions.

Didn’t register in January? Does the March date work better for you?

End of Winter Jam Camp Schedule

Camp He Ho Ha has been home to the Northern Bluegrass Circle Acoustic Music Workshop and Winter Jam Camp for over 20 years. It will be nice to get back to this beautiful setting where the only concern is for sore fingers and lack of sleep.
