Something for Everyone - beginner to advanced.
Beginners will learn mostly by observing. If you are an advanced player, or already know the tune, Barbara will teach, something about it that will be different than what you already know. She will be teaching a type of fiddling that is very jam friendly.
We will look at practical ways to sound better, how to play with others and ways for improvement.
The three tunes will be:
Red Apple Rag - key of G,
Cluck Old Hen - key of A
Muddy Roads - key of G.
Barbara will offer tips on how to practice effectively and the best use of your time.
(Hint - don't practice your mistakes over and over until your mistakes become the way you play.)
This friendly workshop focused on fiddle playing will get you ready for the jamming season.
